Recap of the 2020 masterclasses

2020 allowed us to make the most of our digital resources, carry out our curricula, and respect our quality charter. As every year, we offer you a multitude of various masterclasses, both on-site and in easily accessible virtual courses, thanks to the help of influential professionals with recognized track records.

Whether they took place in our auditorium or during virtual meetings, the masterclasses gave a different tempo to our students’ academic year.

The intervention of selected speakers and specialists in their field again allowed our students access to crucial information. These giants of media development took the time to answer students’ questions, offering relevant advice in their areas of expertise. Our critical words for organizing these thematic classes: are diversity and expertise.

Dive with us to recap the masterclasses that marked 2019-2020!

Among the renowned speakers who wished to participate in our events is Anthony Bourbon, CEO, and co-founder of the brand Feed.

This entrepreneur, who has a dazzling success story, went back over the steps that marked his journey toward being consecrated as CEO.

A path filled with challenges that the CEO has met with brilliance, and which now allows him to benefit from a considerable base and share his tips with our students.

Still in the food industry, our students discovered how internal communication works at the giant Michel et Augustin, with the intervention of Aurélie Juillard, communication manager for these taste masters. There was an immersive dive into the successful brand to give our students an inside view of how the company works.

On the sports side, David Banget, digital director of the Olympique Lyonnais group, delighted the students with a conference on the digital revolution in our offices. An informational meeting about the digital strategy chosen by this internationally renowned sports group. Sharing his daily challenges, David Banget gave us the keys to success at the crossroads of responsibilities and innovations,

As a natural pool of urban artists such as Aya Nakamura, Ninho, or Hamza, the label REC 118 and its manager in digital marketing and communication, Cedrick Lohou, evoked the approach of the digital strategies as a new springboard for street artists during a conference opened to all our courses. An urban, more intimate point of view is part of the diversity of our learning.

In the same vein, Lisa Heilmeyer, in charge of partnerships at Vrai Rap Français, came back with the importance of a solid link with external actors.

Martin Jaglin, the co-founder of Mon Petit Gazon, gave us the honor of joining our premises and speaking to our students in the 2nd year of Masters in Start-up Management and E-commerce. He returned with us on the rise of the French fantasy soccer game, which now counts several leagues and series—a long-awaited presentation on a spectacular success made in France, inspiring our future graduates.

Eudicia Somé, head of the digital department of the PSA Austria branch, agreed to participate in our masterclass expeditions by joining us in a virtual summit meeting with the theme “Automotive and digital: the challenges of a transformation.” From Austria, Eudicia Somé spoke directly to our students about the digital challenges of an international company with heavy capital, such as PSA.

Live from the United States, in another of our masterclass expeditions, Riot Games expert Howon Lee spoke about the professionalization and challenges of League of Legend e-sports. The company’s significant expansion created in 2006 has fascinated the audience, who can now assess the impact of communication and management around a game that is now cult and omnipresent internationally.

Our students had the opportunity to lift the curtain on the brand image of Galeries Lafayette, which continues to reinvent itself after 125 years of existence. Clément Bouchard, Brand Strategy Project Manager, spoke to all of our students about the strategic shift of a French brand that exported worldwide with as much success as ever despite decades of history. Clément Bouchard talked about the behind-the-scenes story and his strategies for securing the brand’s digital revolution while respecting its century-old heritage.

In our auditorium, Darina Senhaji, senior account manager at La Fourchette, shared her mouth-watering experience in foodtechfood tech and its specificities with our very eager students. The mobile apps and game monetization specialist, Hicham Massamba Wa, gave our students in Master’s insights on acquisition through video games.

Communication experts for Bonne Maman, Lanvin, Sud Express, Kevin Hendel, and Romain Sirignano for the giant’s Facebook and Instagram have also accepted to participate in our conferences. They answered questions from our students in the 2nd year of master’s in digital communication and E-influence. In contrast, our 3rd-year students in Bachelors, 1st and 2nd-year students in Master of Sport benefited from sports journalist Damien Bourdeih, or the presence of Bruno Schwobthaler, from the company Growth to measure the challenges of the digital field applied to the world of sport.

Our future graduates have benefited from unique advice and learning from the most outstanding professionals with all these contributions in mind.

The entire Digital College team and the students thank everyone involved during this particular time. Your presence and capacity to adapt have provided new perspectives for our students.

We are proud to offer the best curricula thanks to our solid partnerships and the pedagogy of our teachers, who are always ready to answer the questions of our future graduates, who will form the elite of tomorrow.
