Sport marketing manager

Job description

As a sports marketing manager, you will have to establish a link between a product, which can be of different forms, and real enthusiasts or even major economic players.

Your role will be to promote a sporting event, a brand, a specific product, or even a sport. To do this, you will need to rely on market research and analysis, but you will also need to know the audience you will be addressing, whether it be partners or the public.

Your passion for sports will help you make your company’s image shine, to satisfy the stakeholders that are already conquered and to seduce other prospects. You will have an advisory role, but you will also have to be dynamic by taking initiatives to promote your product.

The required skills

Your passion and creativity will be your best assets! You will obviously have to master the technical tools of marketing and communication, know how to coordinate and organize your teams to implement your project and give life to your initiatives.

Speaking at least one foreign language is a plus to address the different people!

The salary

At the beginning of your career, you will not systematically become a manager, but you will be able to earn your stripes as a design manager and then progress to a managerial position. In junior positions, the average salary is 30,000 euros gross per year.

With several years of experience, the average salary increases to 75,000 euros gross per year.
