A look back at the Ms1 web creation week
Digital College partnered with Ecole Conte and Exchange College for the Ms1 Web Creation Week. This is the first year that our students have worked in collaboration with two other schools on this exciting project.
A professional project
The goal is to create a fully functional commercial or promotional website within a week. This project can also take the form of a blog. This exercise puts our students in real-life professional situations, so that they can get as close as possible to the conditions they may encounter in the workplace.
Beyond the website, this project encourages our students’ creativity. The concept is open-ended, giving them the freedom to choose the subject they prefer. Travel companies, gyms, a modeling agency and a barber shop all saw the light of day in the space of a week. From mock-up to specifications, website creation is a real opportunity to develop their project management skills.
Enriching encounters
During this intensive week, several professionals act as coaches to guide the students’ projects. This highlight gives them the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with industry professionals – a gratifying and promising sharing of experience !
