Social media strategist

Job description

The social media strategist is truly the voice of the company on social networks. It represents the company in its interaction with the consumer on social networks, platforms that are essential for companies.

Its role: to establish a media strategy to offer new visibility to a product or an event. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Foursquare, Instagram are her tools of choice to generate more traffic and attract new leads. He/she develops a strategy in close collaboration with the sales and marketing teams while respecting the company’s image. Its mission is paramount, while a frequent and assiduous presence on social networks is essential.

The required skills

An excellent command of social networks is obviously necessary but not sufficient. A thorough knowledge of measurement tools such as Radian6, Sysomos or Sprinklr is also fundamental. Creativity, good writing skills and a reactive mind are real assets for the social media strategist.

The salary

His/her remuneration ranges from 30,000 euros gross per year for a junior position to 55,000 euros gross per year for a senior position with several years of experience.
