Account manager

Job description

The account manager works to ensure the proper management of his clients’ accounts, advising them on new guidelines towards actions they wish to take.  To do so, they know the product in question, offered by the company.

They are able to use the necessary digital tools to tackle this management. They must also ensure the quality of the services they offer or the used tools to serve clients. They must offer a personal analysis to  clients, which does not prevent them from managing several accounts belonging to several key players at the same time.

They not only take care of existing accounts, but may also be required to prospect for new customers at the same time

The required skills

Strong communication and negotiation skills are necessary to launch a career as an account manager. A good professional conscience, a certain flexibility and a very neat organization are also key elements to distinguish you in this position which will place you in front of many.

The salary

The salary of an account manager ranges from approximately 30,000 euros gross per year for a junior position to 55,000 euros gross per year for an experienced senior position.
