The Reunion campus is committed to becoming a company with a social and environmental mission

CREALISE, the Digital College campus holder, has become the first company in La Réunion to make a statutory commitment to the future by becoming a “mission-driven company,” a recent measure created by the PACTE law by the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Recovery. This strong recognition validates the school’s social and environmental commitment by allowing it to materialize its ambitions for the Island.

The ambition of a school in la Réunion

With all the social and environmental challenges, we all face, pedagogy, and the way we teach need to be reinvented. Crealise and Digital College wish to embody the status of a “mission-driven company” of the Pacte law, a first for the island of La Réunion. Their goal is to provide answers and solutions, through training, to the significant challenges of societal, social, and environmental transition. This commitment highlights our ambition to contribute to constructing a more resilient and responsible island with innovative projects that have a positive impact.

We believe that digital technology is an essential tool for our youth and our island in the age of digital technology. Today, it is positioned as an “incubator” for young talents with innovative and rewarding projects for our ecosystem.

The first company with a mission in overseas France

As a “mission-driven company,” CREALISE and the Digital College campus in Reunion Island are committed to directing their activities towards the pursuit of social, societal, and/or environmental objectives by adopting a transparent approach, which is in line with the provisions of the Pact Law. Crealise is already working in this direction through its Startup Week, which imposes a single condition sine qua non: create an innovative and committed company with a social, societal, and/or environmental impact. The “SEAKER” project, winner of the 2021 edition, led by Christian Thiebaud, aims to reduce marine pollution in the Indian Ocean. A project incubated by Crealise and Digital College via the Crealisateur® incubator. On another note, to share and participate in the digital and entrepreneurial ecosystem of Reunion Island, our campus offers various free events open to the public, such as its thematic Masterclasses and the NOU LA FAIL event, where four entrepreneurs tell us how we can learn and succeed from our failures.
