As a web developer, you will be responsible for the functionality of your company’s website. And it’s a delicate mission! Whether you are a computer scientist, an engineer or a technician, you will have to respond to the specifications entrusted to you, and ensure that they are strictly applied by developing technical responses, whether or not they already exist.
In full possession of the development tools, you will have to choose among the possible alternatives the most adequate to meet the needs of the company but also of the final user. Of course, you will have to test the different solutions to make sure they work properly once implemented.
The required skills
You will need to be fully conversant with different computer languages and techniques. Your ability to analyze and diagnose problems will make you an essential part of your company. A good resistance to pressure and a certain ability to work in a hurry are also highly appreciated in a web developer.
The salary
The basic salary for a junior developer is 25,000 euros gross per year. But with recognized senior experience, this amount can reach 50,000 euros gross per year, or even more in a large company.
